REFUND
POLICY

Last Updated: January 29, 2026

Refund Policy Overview

I, Nandun Gunasekara, strive to deliver exceptional quality in all my projects. This refund policy outlines the circumstances under which refunds may be issued for my professional services. Please read this policy carefully before engaging my services.

Non-Refundable Deposits

Initial deposits (typically 50% of project cost) are non-refundable.This is because once a project begins:

  • I allocate time in my schedule exclusively for your project
  • I decline other potential clients to focus on your work
  • Initial planning, research, and setup work commences immediately
  • Resources and third-party services may be purchased on your behalf

By making a deposit payment, you acknowledge that this amount secures my services and compensates for the opportunity cost of accepting your project.

When Refunds May Be Issued

Partial or full refunds may be considered in the following exceptional circumstances:

1. Pre-Commencement Cancellation

If you cancel the project before any work has begun(within 48 hours of deposit), a refund of up to 80% of the deposit may be issued, with 20% retained as an administrative fee.

2. Service Non-Delivery

If I am unable to deliver the agreed services due to circumstances on my end (illness, technical impossibility, etc.), you will receive a full refund of any payments made.

3. Material Breach of Contract

If I materially breach the terms of our agreement and fail to remedy the breach within a reasonable timeframe, a pro-rata refund may be issued for incomplete work.

No Refunds Will Be Issued For

  • Change of mind: If you decide you no longer need the service
  • Scope disagreements: If you're dissatisfied with features that were not in the original scope
  • Delayed feedback: If project delays are caused by your lack of timely feedback or approvals
  • Third-party issues: Problems with hosting, domains, or services purchased in your name
  • Subjective preferences: Design choices made within the agreed scope that you later dislike
  • Market changes: Changes in your business situation or market conditions

Completed Milestone Payments

For projects with milestone-based payments:

  • Payments for completed and approved milestones are non-refundable
  • You receive all deliverables for completed milestones, even if the project is terminated early
  • Refunds may only apply to payments for incomplete future milestones

Refund Request Process

To request a refund:

  1. Email your refund request to contact@nandun.dev
  2. Include your project details and reason for the refund request
  3. I will review your request within 3-5 business days
  4. If approved, refunds will be processed within 10 business days
  5. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method

My Commitment to Quality

While my refund policy is strict, I am committed to your satisfaction. If you're unhappy with any aspect of the work, I will work with you to revise and refine the deliverables within the agreed scope. My goal is always to deliver work that exceeds your expectations, making refund requests unnecessary.

Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises regarding a refund, I encourage open communication to resolve the matter amicably. If we cannot reach an agreement, the dispute may be subject to mediation or arbitration as outlined in our service agreement.
